Chelsea + Kirby
After rescheduling their wedding date and venue multiple times due to COVID-19, Chelsea and Kirby ended up at Iris Aisle. We are so happy they did, because their late-October wedding turned out absolutely beautiful.
Chelsea chose to get ready inside the Couple’s Cabin along with her mama, best gals, and of course her sassy little queen. Chelsea really wanted a first look with her bridesmaids, and their expressions when they first saw her all dolled up were priceless.
It took some convincing, but ultimately Kirby gave in and agreed to a first look with just him and Chelsea in the cedar grove, the speckled sunlight just perfectly adding to their sweet moment together before the ceremony began.
As Chelsea walked down the aisle inside the Conservatory, Kirby’s eyes filled with happy tears. His best man was always full of laughs and tricks, and pulled out a coin to decide whether or not Kirby and Chelsea should get married during the ceremony. Everyone present was very familiar with his jokes, because he and Kirby have been friends for a lifetime.
After the ceremony, we hopped onto the party bus and drinks were shared as we bounced around to some little gems in Winterset, including the City Park and The Pheasant Run. Turns out it was trick-or-treat night for Halloween too, so all the little trick or treaters were out in their costumes too. Thankful I got to run into my own little magical unicorn!
Chelsea and Kirby celebrated their reception at Blank Golf Course with lots of food and a whole lot of dancing… and I mean a LOT. These two choreographed an entire dance routine together, and believe me when I say THEY GOT DOWN.
It was such a beautiful fall day, followed by an equally beautiful evening. I would go back and photograph their day over and over if I could.
