Cannabis at Iris Aisle
News & Updates
Tincture of Iris Aisle
Tincture of Iris Aisle is made from the whole plant and infused in MCT oil, which means you are getting all the cannabinoids as they naturally occur. Our plants are grown with great care in natural sunlight outside on our own property, and we take pride tending to our plants without pesticides. Like a friend said, “If the bugs don’t want it, then I don’t want to eat it either.”
We currently offer our full spectrum cannabis oil in 1 oz and 2 oz sizes.
CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS
At Iris Aisle, we prioritize your safety and transparency in our hemp products. You can check out our COA (Certificate of Analysis) to better understand what is inside our products.
Knowing the origin and production methods of the products you use is important, just like with food. Unfortunately, there is currently an unregulated market of hemp producers who grow vast acres of hemp (a product with little medicinal value) and extract any bits of CBD they can find from the entire crop. These products are often contaminated with the pesticides and chemicals used by the growers to extract and concentrate the cannabinoid, resulting in an inferior product.
Unfortunately, many people are unaware of this and are purchasing these products.

Possibly! Our full-spectrum CBD tincture contains trace amounts of THC, which could potentially show up in a drug test. By preserving all of the beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes, our product may be more effective than products that isolate CBD alone.

At this time, you can find our tinctures in-store at Whole Health Chiropractic in Des Moines, or directly from us here at Iris Aisle in Winterset.

The endocannabinoid system is a network of cell receptors and neurotransmitters found throughout the body. It plays an important role in regulating things like appetite, mood, sleep, and pain sensation.
The endocannabinoid system is activated by cannabinoids, which are natural compounds found in cannabis. Cannabinoids can affect these physiological processes and potentially provide health benefits.

CBD (cannabidiol) is a natural compound found in cannabis. Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which is another compound found in cannabis that causes a "high," CBD does not produce any psychoactive effects.
It is believed to have potential health benefits, such as reducing anxiety, improving sleep, and relieving pain and inflammation.

Previously, the term "hemp" referred to the plant used for textiles, building materials, and as a superfood with little to no medicinal properties. However, thanks to Iowa’s 2018 Farm Bill, cannabis with a THC content of less than 0.3% is now also considered hemp.
