Our Conservatory is nestled in the heart of a cedar tree grove with a private hammock area, our whimsical cabins and a beautiful reception site we fill with our very own farm tables. Our maximum occupancy is 75 people in and outside of the Conservatory.

The Iris

Yes you can! If you’ve already booked and want to add hours after booking, reach out and we’ll help you out. If you have a quote from us and haven’t booked yet, you can add hours by selecting them in your quote page.

You can! 1.5 hour rentals are available Monday-Thursday (just rehearsal), or 3 hour rentals are available Monday-Friday (time to have a rehearsal and cater in a dinner for guests). Reminder: we don’t provide catering services!

Yes! Event liability insurance is required for any event lasting more than one hour. You can purchase event insurance through your preferred insurance company. We also recommend www.eventsured.com as another option. Note: We do not accept insurance from wedsafe.com.
You must choose the option to allow alcohol at your event, even if you don’t drink. We all know one guest will show up with something! Insurance must be paid in full with a copy of the policy sent to us at least 10 days prior to your wedding date, but we recommend taking care if it ASAP to get it out of the way.

A 50% retainer will be due at the time of booking to reserve your date. Once paid, the booking fee is applied to your total package price, and is non-refundable. The remaining half of your balance is due one month before your wedding date. You may make smaller payments toward your balance until that one month date, if you like. Once all fees are paid, they are non-refundable.

Yes! The grounds and Conservatory are included in all of our bookings. You’re not limited to just the Conservatory for your ceremony or reception. If you feel like creating a special place in our woods, please do. The possibilities are endless around here and we have many beautiful nooks around the property to host a ceremony and reception. Please reach out to us if you’d like to book the Couple’s Cabin or the Lotus Bell Tent during your event.

We have an amazing Couple’s Cabin that sits back in our cedar forest. It’s air-conditioned and is a great space for getting ready photos and holding any important belongings during your stay. We also have a beautiful 16x16’ Lotus Bell Tent with a queen size bed and all the necessities for getting ready use as well.
The Couple’s Cabin and Lotus Bell tent are both already included for use during your reservation when purchasing the The Iris, Wild Iris, or Blue Iris packages. If you’re booking another package, you can add on use of the cabin or tent during your reservation a la carte for a fee.
Both the cabin and tent can also be booked for an overnight stay depending on availability and each sleep 2 maximum overnight guests.

Yes, to a point. We have heaters available for the winter, and fans/vents for warmer summer weather. All the windows open as well to allow for good airflow.
The Conservatory is a greenhouse (yay plant babies!), so it will be warmer inside during certain points of the day. In the hotter months, we recommend early morning or evening ceremonies/celebrations to avoid getting too warm. (If you ask us, those times make for the most perfect lighting inside anyways.

Absolutely. We love to see how our guests customize our beautiful space. All alterations need to be discussed with and approved by us before your event. Please review your contract for a list of decorations we do and don’t allow, and reach out to us with any questions!

Yes! We have one ADA-compliant bathroom with a shower available for you and your guests inside the Conservatory.

The maximum legal amount of guests we are allowed for our space is 75 people for our two larger packages. This includes wedding couple + party, children and all vendors staying on the property for your wedding day. This number is set by the fire marshall and we cannot go over 75 persons for any event.
Our onsite parking area can accommodate about 35 vehicles, so we recommend carpooling to ensure parking is available for all your guests.

Of course! Children must ALWAYS be accompanied by an adult. All guests, regardless of age, are asked to respect the natural elements of our space. Please stay on the paths, and do not pick anything unless agreed upon beforehand.

Dogs are welcome on the property as long as they remain on a leash at all times, and are cleaned up after. We recommend having someone designated to watch after them.
Dogs are permitted inside the Conservatory only when participating in the ceremony. Otherwise, please keep them outside.
Note: We do have a dog and chickens fenced off from the venue area, and our cat who roams around the property, just in case this is an issue for your pet. You are entirely responsible for the behavior of your pet.
If you want to bring any other kind of animal, reach out to us first!

You may have beer and wine on the property, or you can hire an outside vendor like a mobile cocktail bar. Otherwise, no bottled liquor is allowed on the property.

It’s totally up to you! While we don’t have a prep kitchen, you are welcome to hire a small catering business, food trucks, or have a potluck!

Although we can certainly accommodate a DJ, it is not necessary. We have a bluetooth Bose system in the conservatory you are welcome to use. Remember, keep things simple!
