We’re proud to work with a few of our favorite local creatives who pour their heart into small, intentional moments.

  • An experienced wedding officiant, public speaker, creative writer, & spiritual seeker.  Raised in rural Iowa, resided in the Des Moines area since 1991. She currently lives on an acreage near Van Meter with her wife, sweet cairn terrier, & a magical one-eyed cat. 
    She specializes in secular wedding ceremonies, while honoring all faiths and paths.

  • This package is available for bookings within 48 hours or less of your desired elopement time. It’s perfect for couples ready to say “I do” now—or very soon!

  • The Whim & Wed package is designed to stay intimate: just the couple, officiant, and up to two witnesses. If you're dreaming of a slightly larger gathering, check out our Full Elopement and Micro Wedding Packages here.

  • Yes! You’ll need to bring your own officiant to make things official. OR you are welcome to hire ours at an additional cost/ availability. You can also bring two witnesses—or, if we’ve chatted in advance, Earl and Raelyn can serve as your witnesses.

  • No décor or setup is included or allowed with this package. We keep it simple and beautiful—letting the natural setting of Iris Aisle do the talking.

  • We’re tucked away in nature, so the weather can get a little wild. If it’s wet or snowy, we recommend bringing boots or a change of shoes—so your fancy ones stay photo-ready while you wander the property.
