Deidre and Tyler's wedding at Iris Aisle was a perfect summer afternoon in mid July, marked by a bright blue sky and puffy white clouds.

Before the ceremony, Deidre and Tyler had a private first look in the Conservatory's hallway and read private vows to one another among the cedar trees.

The Conservatory was adorned with a wooden arch and floral arrangements from Something Chic Floral for the ceremony, perfectly complementing our year-round tropical plants and hanging ferns. As guests entered, they were invited to take ceremony programs in the form of paper fans, a thoughtful detail on the warm summer day.

Following the “I do’s,” the couple and their wedding party took photos and celebrated with a champagne spray. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the patio, and left recorded messages for the newlyweds by speaking into a vintage telephone that served as an audio guest book.

The celebration continued later that evening at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden for the reception. Dinner and dessert were provided by Gateway Market and Mimi’s Sweet Cakes & Bakes, and Burkett Entertainment provided music for dancing and fun.

This special day, captured by Cherry Chiles, showcased Deidre and Tyler's joy and the unique beauty of Iris Aisle, complete with a transition to another stunning greenhouse venue, the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden. We just LOVE that this couple was able to enjoy two beautiful Conservatories in one day for their wedding.
