Madeline + Samuel
On a beautiful early November afternoon, Madeline and Samuel got married in the cedar grove at Iris Aisle.
Madeline looked radiant in her flowing silky white dress from Modern Bride, and she complemented her classic look with a long veil, gold and diamond jewelry, and white pointed toe flats. Her bouquet, crafted by Hy-Vee Floral, was a beautiful medley of roses, protea, billy balls, and eucalyptus. The Couple’s Cabin was filled with excitement as she prepared for her big day while surrounded by her closest friends.
Samuel, looking dapper in his dark blue suit from Men's Wearhouse, added a touch of elegance with a red tie and a red rose boutonniere. He got ready with his groomsmen in our Lotus Bell tent, or the Garlic tent as we sometimes call it.
Madeline and Samuel’s first look was a private, magical moment among the trees, setting the tone for the heartfelt ceremony that followed. For the first time at Iris Aisle, a ceremony was held entirely in the cedar grove. The setting was truly enchanting, with rows of chairs set between the cedar trees and the ground covered in a soft bed of pine needles. This perfect afternoon wedding was not just a celebration of love but also a celebration of nature. After exchanging vows and 'I do's', the couple and their families gathered in the clearing for family photos, taking advantage of the many picturesque locations around Iris Aisle.
Large colorful mums added a vibrant touch to the autumnal setting of the Conservatory. Inside, our farm tables were elegantly dressed in rust-colored sheer fabric, with arrangements of pampas grass and white taper candles creating a warm, inviting ambiance.
Dessert included three flavors of cupcakes and a small red velvet cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes, featuring thick creamy cream cheese frosting – a treat for the couple. Guests enjoyed custom grilled cheeses and french fries from Off The Griddle's food truck, a unique and delightful choice for wedding fare. We heard lots of rave reviews from their guests! As the evening unfolded, guests mingled on our new open-air back patio and gathered again inside the Conservatory for heartfelt speeches and a night of dancing.
