Brittany + John
When they first reached out to us, Brittany and John said “we just want to celebrate us.” They kept things perfectly simple and sweet for their intimate Monday evening elopement at Iris Aisle. The couple’s closest friends and family gathered to witness their union on a serene day in late April.
Brittany got ready in the Botanist cabin with help from her mom. She wore a garden party-inspired gown adorned with flower and bird appliqués, off-shoulder straps, a sweetheart neckline, and a corset back. Her accessories included sophisticated pearl and crystal jewelry, and she finished her look with Chanel Chance perfume. Lacey Meiners did her bridal hair and makeup look perfectly. John dressed in a sharp navy suit from Men’s Wearhouse with a cream tie, complemented by Bleu de Chanel cologne and a pink rose boutonniere.
The ceremony itself was stunning in the Conservatory. Brittany’s father walked her down the Aisle and the couple then performed a sand unity ceremony, mixing colored sand as a symbol of their union. This was followed by heartfelt vows, their first kiss as a married couple, and a celebratory champagne toast shared with all present. After couples photos around Iris Aisle in the greenhouse, the Botanist Cabin, the cedar grove, and in front of the Conservatory, the newlyweds joined their friends and family for a dinner reception at a local restaurant.
