Courtney and Travis held their sweet micro wedding at Iris Aisle on an overcast afternoon in mid-December.

Courtney got ready in the Couple’s Cabin and wore a completely stunning A-line Mikado satin gown from The Bridal Garden. A row of pearls sat atop her curly red hair, which she had styled into a classic low bun by LIVcreative Hair Artistry. Her dad came to greet her and together they walked to the greenhouse for their intimate ceremony with her and Travis’ closest loved ones.

Travis had the sweetest smile when Courtney and her dad walked through the double doors in the Conservatory, and their ceremony, officiated by one of our favorite celebrants ever, Carrie England, was emotional and beautifully minimal. Our large tropical plants decorated either side of the octagon end of the greenhouse, and bright early afternoon light filled the space for their vows.

After exchanging rings, the happy couple signed their marriage license and treated their guests to wine and charcuterie, complete with cute little wine charm souvenirs for their guests. As the sun started to dip below the trees, they sliced into a small wedding cake as family looked on lovingly, and then we explored the property for some romantic and creative couples photos during the last bit of golden hour.

We just love events that end a little past sunset, because it gives our couples and their guests a chance to experience the venue after dark, when the twinkle lights are on and the cedar forest becomes even more magical.
