Lani + Ben
When Ben and Lani reached out to us, they told us they wanted to have an intimate wedding ceremony with just their two children, and their immediate families present. They said they wanted it to be during the winter, because they wanted something to look forward to when it becomes cold and dreary outside, but still wanted to feel like they were somewhere warm, cozy and beautiful, and our space seemed to be the perfect fit for their dream wedding day.
We couldn’t agree more, and Lani and Ben ended up eloping at Iris Aisle on a sunny day in late January when the trees in our cedar forest were heavy with recent snow. Our Couple’s Cabin and Victorian Conservatory were indeed as cozy as could be for this sweet and intimate celebration of love!
After getting dressed in the Couple’s Cabin, everyone made their way to the Conservatory to witness the happy couple’s loving and emotional vows, and shared in lots of warm embraces after the ceremony. We took time for family photos and then Lani and Ben explored the property for some snowy newlywed photos. Lani’s all-white dress and furry coat and Ben’s sharp blue suit looked gorgeous against the white winter backdrop and stunning blue sky.
Before the end of their celebration, everyone gathered around the front of the greenhouse to watch the happy couple slice the tops off of two bottles of champagne with a sword! Not something we see every day out here, and it was so much fun! Their guests loved it and everyone joined in a champagne toast to celebrate Lani & Ben’s union!
